Emily Grace Lancaster
Hi there! I'm Emily Grace, the heart behind Becoming Ezer. I'm currently a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I'm studying Ministry to Women with a focus in Biblical Counseling. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved learning and teaching the Bible—it’s a joy and calling that I believe the Lord has placed on my life to glorify Him and serve others.
I’m passionate about biblical literacy and deeply care about people knowing and loving God’s Word. My greatest desire in ministry is simple: to teach the Bible faithfully and help make God’s name known.
Outside of seminary life, I’m a big fan of baking, the outdoors, and live music—basically anything cozy or life-giving! Theologically, I believe men and women are equal in value and worth, though given distinct roles within the church when it comes to preaching, teaching, and discipleship. I also believe in the inerrancy of Scripture—that the Bible is completely true, divinely inspired, and without error. That conviction is what fuels my desire to handle God’s Word with care.
Lastly, I want you to know I don’t write from a place of perfection. I’m learning right alongside you, and I know I won’t always get it right. Think of this blog as an overflow of my notes app—just with more punctuation and a bit more context. Thanks for being here, and welcome to the journey!
